  • 1 lb flank steak, thinly sliced
  • 2 packs ramen noodles, cooked and drained
  • 3 tbsp soy sauce (or tamari for gluten-free)
  • 1 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1-inch ginger, grated
  • 1/2 cup beef broth
  • 1 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 2 tbsp green onions, chopped

 

  • 1 tsp sesame seeds

Instructions

  • Prepare the beef: Toss thinly sliced beef with cornstarch and set aside.
  • Cook the noodles: Boil ramen noodles according to package instructions, drain, and set aside.
  • Sear the beef: Heat vegetable oil in a wok over high heat, sear beef for 1-2 minutes per side, then remove.
  • Make the sauce: In the same wok, add sesame oil, garlic, and ginger, sautéing for 30 seconds. Pour in soy sauce, brown sugar, and beef broth. Simmer for 2 minutes.
  • Combine everything: Return beef to the wok, toss with sauce, and add noodles. Stir-fry for 2 minutes until coated.

 

  • Garnish and serve: Sprinkle with sesame seeds, green onions, and red pepper flakes. Serve hot!
